Mr. Harsh Jajoo
CEO & Managing Director, Can-Pack India Pvt. Ltd.

Highlights of the career:
While the ALCOBEV industry was passing through a growth phase in India, absence of an aluminum beverage can manufacturing on ground was striking. 99% of the carbonated beverages were packed in glass and only 1% in cans. His observation and identification of the business need, lead him to make serious efforts in conducting research in the international market for this need. His persistent effort in the form of detailed analysis of this market opportunity and a role that a first mover can reap paid off as the Polish company, Can-Pack SA (sales US$ 2 billion) demonstrated keen interest on his proposal and bought into his idea and initiated the next steps. The business thought started taking shape, setting him off on a preparatory mission.

Family details: Mr.Harsh’s family comprises of his wife Namrata who is a Dy. Director, MGM institute of Management, Aurangabad. His daughter Swastika is a student of Class 10 and his son Samarth studies in class 3.

Mr. P.C. Nambiar.
Director - Group EXIM , Serum Institute of India Ltd

Mr.P.C. Nambiar started his career with Doschen (I) Pvt. Ltd. as a Marketing Executive and moved to Thermax India Ltd., where he was instrumental in the formation of the EXIM Cell in Thermax. After an eventful term of 13 years with Thermax, he moved to the Poonawalla Group of Companies and is currently with the Poonawalla group as Director - Group EXIM .

He along with his team work on the different policies formulated by the Government and design the different business models in line with these policies.

Mr.Nambiar is also the Vice Chairman of Export Promotion Council of Export Oriented Units and Special Economic Zones, National Council, Chairman of Foreign Trade Regulations Committee (MCCIA), President of the Association of EOUs and SEZs (Maharashtra ), Central Governing Council Member - Export Promotion Council of Export Oriented Units and Special Economic Zones. He is also working as a Committee Member of the Confederation of Exported Oriented Units (CEU). He is a member of the Task Force on Exports (CII) Civil Aviation Sub-Committee (MCCIA), Public Grievance Committee & Regional Advisory, Council of Central Excise and Customs, Pune, Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee, Customs, Pune and Regional Advisory Committee of Customs - Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust.

Mr.Nambiar is an eminent personality in his field and has been closely associated with Export / Import Policy Formulation and is a strong content provider to the Union Budget preparation exercise of the Govt. of India. Many of his suggestions are well received and have been incorporated in the National Foreign Trade Policy and also Union Budget presented by the Ministry of Finance.
He has been a visiting faculty in various management Institutes like Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Institute of Management Development & Research (IMDR), National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) and Indian Centre for International Business (ICIB).

He is also actively engaged in various social and philanthropic activities.

Educational qualification:
Mr.P.C. Nambiar is a Graduate in Commerce with a post graduate Degree in Law. He has attended many special courses on Foreign Trade, UCPDC and INCOTERMS, organized by International Chamber of Commerce, Paris and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and excelled in the same.

Mr.Nambiar has been honored with World Malayalee Council Award for Best Professional of the Year (2009-2010), received at the auspicious hands of His Excellency, Shri. K, Shankaranarayanan, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra. He has received the Highest Net Foreign Exchange Earner (New SEZs – Private Sector) Award for the Financial Years 2007- 08, 2008-09, 2009-10 – received at the hands of the Development Commissioner – SEEPZ SEZ, Mumbai, Highest Exports (New SEZs – Private Sector) Award for the Financial Years 2008-09, 2009-10 – received at the hands of the Development Commissioner – SEEPZ SEZ, Mumbai, Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZ Units Award for the Best EOU for the FY 2005-06, received at the hands of the Hon’ble Commerce Minister, Shri. Family details:
His family consists of his wife Vijayalakshmi who is a home maker. His daughter Gayathri is a legal eagle with a Degree in BSL. LLB and Masters in Business Law. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights. She has her own practice and is settled in Mumbai .

Ms. Shobha Santosh
Director, Fujitsu Consulting India

Highlights of the career:
As a Director in Fujitsu Consulting India, she manages the deliveries for Middle East and Africa region. In her Multi-Continental role she is responsible as a business leader for supporting the growth of business in this challenging region and ensuring successful deliveries. Prior to joining Fujitsu, she was with TCS for close to 16 years.

In her wide and distinguished experience of 20 years of international service with IT industry, she has handled various engagements of varying complexities and composition.

Ms.Shobha’s experience broadly covers the areas of Practice/Business Unit Management, Delivery Management, Product Management, Program management and Operations Management.
Under her leadership, she has developed business with leading global customers spanning across business verticals. She has governed and overseen a number of large global IT engagements .
Her strength lies in her deep customer focus, strong delivery focus coupled with business sensitivity, insight in futuristic business solution and the added dimension of in-depth technical knowledge.

Family details:
Settled in Pune , India and is married to Dr. Santosh Gopinathan (Phd). She has two daughters Natasha (17 Yrs) and Khushi (10 yrs). Natasha is studying in the 12 std at Marathwada Mitra Mandal College, Pune and Khushi is in Std V and studying at St Joseph’s Pashan.

Dr.Anil Sahasrabudhe
Director, College of Engineering, Pune

Highlights of the career:
Prior to establishing himself as an Academician,Dr. Sahasrabudhe had a short stint in Tata Consulting Engineers after attaining his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1982-83. He then moved on towards pursuing his passion in the world of Education.

In 1987 he started his career as a lecturer in a new and novel institute "North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology", Itanagar, now a highly ranked Deemed University in India, and shouldered several responsibilities like Head of the Department, Campus co-coordinator, Chairman Library, Educational Technology project and many more until 1995.

He has worked as Associate Professor and then as Professor in another new institute "Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati" and carried out several responsibilities successfully as Head of the Department, Chairman Library Committee, Dean, Academic Affairs, Chairman, JEE and Deputy Director (1995-2006 He has successfully handled a KVIC (Khadi and Village Industries Commission) project for developing rural technologies in weaving (removing drudgery), use of bamboo for hospital and school furniture and improvised biogas plant for cold region.

In his current assignment, he is the Director of College of Engineering, Pune in 2006.

He is actively involved in social work and for improving corporate life on the campus.

Educational qualification:
He has achieved First Class throughout the career, and is a First ranker in all 10 semesters of Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) programme of Karnataka University, a very rare and proud achievement.

He has received University Gold medals for Masters and PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Awards/Recognition:
He is a recipient of the National Merit Scholarship; UGC Fellowship, Best outgoing student of the year in High school as well as in the Engineering College.

Dr.Anil Sahasrabudhe is a Member of various esteemed institutions like Indian Society of Technical Education, Acoustical Society of India, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Fellow of Institution of Engineers, National Council of Museums, and Expert on selection committees for faculty positions in IITs.

Family details:
His better half, Ms.Madhuri is a Principal, Air Force School, Chandan Nagar (BSc, Microbiology, MA Sociology and B Ed). She has started a school in Arunachal Pradesh and a NGO: Swayampurna in Guwahati.
His son Ameya is Studying in the fourth year of Integrated Masters programme in Chemistry from IIT Bombay. He is a Sprinter and Sports Secretary of IITB. His daughter Dnyanada is a student of Class XII Science and is deeply interested in music, acting and dance.

Dr.Yogesh Ramesh Kulkarni
Executive Director, Vigyan Ashram

Highlights of their career:
Dr. Yogesh Kulkarni has successfully demonstrated effectiveness of ‘Learning while doing’ methodology by implementing Vigyan Ashram’s (VA) pre-vocational program ‘Introduction to Basic Technology (IBT)’.
He has fruitfully entered into partnership with various organizations to spread VA’s IBT program. IBT program is now making inroads into other states like Karnataka, Goa, Chattisgarh and Andhra.

He is actively working towards development of various multimedia educational CDs and demonstrated its use in education.

His noble and exceptional endeavor of establishing wireless in local loop internet in Pabal and surrounding villages,has led to the development of AQUA: A Website for farmers. This is an excellent example of bridging the advantages of technology to the benefits of India’s farmers.

Dr. Kulkarni has won Development Marketplace Idea competition to develop human power devices and also won ‘Evolve’ competition organized by GKN Sinter Metal, (UK based Global Engineering Company) and won prize of £ 100,000.Infrastructure at VA is modernized with the award amount.

His tireless and multidimensional efforts has earned him partnership with DST, IIT, MIT-USA and many others for developing appropriate rural technologies.

Educational qualification:
Dr. Yogesh Kulkarni is a B.E (Mech). He has also successfully completed PGDBA, MA and PhD (Educational communication)

He has received Seva Gaurav Puraskar 2011from Sheth Chimanlal Govindas Trust.

Family details:
His family comprises of his wife Deepa and Son Siddharth.

Ms.Meera Anand Badve
Founder and Director, Niwant Andh Mukta Vikasalay

Highlights of their career:
15 years back; when not a single word in Braille or any support system existed, Ms.Meera Badve over the years built up an NGO for holistic development of Visually Impaired students pursuing higher education.

This NGO has successfully trained more than 1000 students who walked out of Niwant with a’ Never Say Die’ attitude and jobs at hand, giving them a secure future and a dignified social footing, as they and their parents dreamed for them.

Her bold outlook and tremendous vigor for the cause is reflected as she Single handedly made education available to students all over India with 15 Braille libraries consisting of 3000 books, along with curricular and extracurricular all across Maharashtra and Goa.The institute has 100% pass result in all examinations till date. Many have topped their respective branches as well.

She has started Chocolate Factory and Software Development Firm to generate employment for the visually impaired students which also made the organization self-sustainable .A very important and significant achievement for their league.

Ms.Meera encourages students to think outside the box and take up new careers like, Bakery and Confectionary course, Library Science, Dancing, Commerce, BCA, MCM, MSW, LAW, Foreign Languages etc.

She has introduced a myriad of recreational activities through her NGO in the lives of the visually impaired to help them develop holistically, for eg. dancing, orchestra, chess, drawing, yoga, judo, imitate bird calls, cricket, malkhamb, skating, donate blood, plant trees.

M.A. B.Ed. (English Literature)

Awards/Recognition:
Ms.Meera has received the Award for the year 2005-06 by the PMC for an outstanding contribution towards social cause.

She has also received several awards from Rotary Club Pune Central Vocational Excellency for the years 2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10.

She has been honored with a special award of Rs. 1, 00,000 (Rs. 1 Lac) at the hands of Mrs. Sudha Murthy, the founder of the Infosys Foundation for her outstanding work towards making the world a better place to live for the Visually Impaired students.

She is also the recipient of awards like Swatantraya Veer Savarkar Puraskar – 2008, Saraswati Samaj Seva Puraskar (Bhagini Nivedita Pratishthan) – 2008 and Neera Gopal Award – 2010

Family details:
Her family consists of her husband Anand Badve (B.E. Mech) who is an Industrialist and the backbone of Niwant’s technical wing. He is a friend and guide to many students. Her daughter Uma Badve is also a Mechanical Engineer.


Lifetime Achievement Award:

Dr. Vijay Kelkar

Dr. Vijay Kelkar has held prominent positions in the Central Government including the Planning Commission (1973-77) and Commerce Ministry (1977) as Economic Adviser. He was the Secretary to the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister between 1985 and 1988. In 1994, he was appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum. He was made Finance Secretary in 1998. Dr. Kelkar recently completed his term as Chairman, Finance Commission, Government of India. On International Fora, he was Executive Director in the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He was the Director & Coordinator, International Trade Division of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, Geneva, Switzerland, 1991-1994. Dr. Vijay Kelkar has been elected Chairman, Board of the Forum of Federations, Ottawa, Canada, with effect from January 1, 2010. He is currently the Chairman of National Stock Exchange of India Limited, Mumbai. He was conferred the Padma Vibhushan in January 2011, for his distinguished and exceptional service to the Nation.
